  1. Career and Counseling Cell of the College:

    The Career and Counseling Cell of the college was formally constituted in the year 2006 as advised by the NAAC Pear Team in 2005. The cell has now received a formal recognition from UGC Under the XI Plan Merged Scheme Funding. Dr. Bulbul Thakur is the Coordinator of the cell. The cell is created in order to lend a helping hand to the students so that they can cope better with the demands and pressures of increasingly competitive surroundings. The Career and Counseling Cell is set up in order to lend a helping hand to the students so that they can cope better with the demands and pressures of increasingly competitive surroundings and prepare them for their future career, & for that the cell organizes campus and seminars as required regularly.
  2. Academic and personal counseling:

    Teachers of the all departments are always available for personal guidance to the students. They are very helpful to the students and encourage them for future prospects. The students of the final year of the UG Course are guided for their future career plans. Faculty members guide the students depending on their interest of subjects.
  3. Career training through career oriented job courses

    from 2007: Medical laboratory technology: (UGC – Career Oriented Courses) train students as technicians in Bio-Chemical and pathological laboratories and also for Medical Marketing Professionals. Distance Education mode enables working students to pursue higher studies and certificate & vocational courses and economically backward and dropout students to continue or renew their studies.
  4. Coaching For Entry Level Examinations in different Government and Non-Government Service: 

    From this Year Raja Peary Mohan College has started the UGC Sponsored Coaching For Entry Level Examinations in different Government and Non-Government Service  specially for the  SC/ST/OBC (excluding creamy layer),  Minorities and economically backward families.  which will benefit them help them to achieve better results. It is also important for them, as most of them are first generation learners. They do not have enough support from the family as they come from economically poor background and it is not possible for them to go to any coaching center and get tuitions for entry into service like WBCS, SSC PSC etc.
  5. Community orientation, Good citizenship and personality development of students:

    In a country like India, with cultural pluralities and diversities, it is essential that students imbibe the appropriate values commensurate with social, cultural, economic and    environmental realities, at the local, national and universal levels. Therefore the institution have taken its responsibility of inculcating the desirable value systems amongst the students through community services, social work, cultural activities and innovative programmes through  the NSS cell, Eco-club (namely Acharya Prafulla  Chandra Eco-Club), Performing Art Cell &Health Unit of this College. This is  reflected through  Blood Donation Camps, Camp for awareness of Thalesemia, animal bite and cardio-vascular resuscitation programmes, AIDS Awareness Programmes, Nutrition Awareness Programmes, Participation in dramas depicting social evils & Teaching economically and socially backward students of Panchayat areas that the institution has organized in last 5 years.
